So he's not going to be a Free Agent in 2017. Excellent move by the Bucks, but there's not so much room for failure here, compared to the contracts they gave to Henson and Plumlee.

Left a lot of money on the table; same agent as Rudy Gay:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Giannis's agent left $44 million in guaranteed money available. No way you sign an extension that isn't full max.</p>&mdash; KF (@NBAcouchside) <a href="https://twitter.com/NBAcouchside/status/777929957557362688">September 19, 2016</a></blockquote>

Some people just want that payday. What if he gets injured? What's a few million more a year after 25 anyways?

This guy is okay, but has been more hype than substance so far.

Post all start break he averaged 19-9-7. They had the ball in his way more toward the end of the season. The only guys that can put up those kind of numbers are Webstbrook and Lebron and maybe harden if he became a better rebounder.

    Perhaps both?

I'm guessing the difference is because he didn't sign for a 5th year.

Who else is due for an extension in the next year or two on that roster that would need this kind of capspace? Parker?

Sweetheart deals are commendable. I just hope that 6 million/year subscribed them to better insight on what moves that money will pull in.

Is SANDERS still on the books?

His agent wanting that money before the new CBA could ultimately screw him over.

19-9-7 is obviously very good, and I'd give him the contract he just got for sure, but I mean...those aren't amazing numbers by any stretch, and he was on a bad Bucks team. Somebody's gonna put up numbers.

Giannis is a little overhyped in my opinion at this point.

I mean, 100M or 106M, not much of a difference. Like you have 10$ instead of 10.6$ lmao

Harden's assists make up for his lack of rebounds.

You never know. I'd still have that $0.60 just for an emergency from a bad investment or 2 or life's unexpected. $6 million is still $6 million in the grand of things and most people will never see that type of left over change in their life times.

Those are numbers that MAYBE 4 players in the league could put up over a sustained stretch of time.

What is an amazing stat line to you?

Once again...they're very good numbers...but they aren't on the same level as the Harden/Westbrook/Lebron/etc. Obviously a high standard, but you see my point.

Is Giannis ever going to be the best, or even second best player on a very good team? Personally, I don't think so, but I very well could be wrong. He has potential.
