This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

Here's another terrible take by Cowherd:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Tom Brady won't finish his career with the Patriots. Here are four teams he could play for. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/HerdHere?src=hash">#HerdHere</a> <a href="https://t.co/AnBBMtthEq">pic.twitter.com/AnBBMtthEq</a></p>&mdash; Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@TheHerd) <a href="https://twitter.com/TheHerd/status/776201238501138433">September 14, 2016</a></blockquote>

Hasn't the premise of this thread already been proven wrong? The Texans already won something with Brock Osweiler at QB.

    Lock it up...

especially if we're going to have to talk about Colin Cowpie.

Pff has said osweiler is an upgrade but probably not worth that much money .

Also the fact that they predicted he would be average but then grade him as above average in his first game shows there is objectivity in their game analysis. Their predictions are human

One of their analysts also wrote this:

This is not the pick I thought I’d be making a couple of months ago, but on top of having possibly the best defensive player of all time in J.J. Watt, I’m expecting a breakout year from Jadaveon Clowney. After averaging a pressure a little over once every 10 pass-rushing attempts in 2015, Clowney averaged one every six this preseason. On offense, Brock Osweiler is a big upgrade over Brian Hoyer, and looked to really find his groove in that all-important third preseason game. They’ve upgraded the weapons around him, too, adding Lamar Miller in the backfield with Braxton Miller and Will Fuller joining the wide receivers. Fuller is going to be an interesting player to watch, and I don’t think it’s ridiculous to say that he might lead the league in both yards per catch and drop rate. In an AFC where all the top teams have question marks, I think Houston could be the best team.

    lol
They're not changing their tune. Before the season they were giving the opinion based on their prediction. Now that he has played, they are giving it based on performance.

    Exactly, well said.

Also I'm excited for his performance but it is only one game

Bill O'Brien said he's not concerned about Brock Osweiler's three interceptions in the first two games. He said he's got to do a better job coaching in that situation.

Osweiler could of easily thrown 4 INTs against KC. De Andre kept it from happening two other times.

I'm actually not worried about them either. The fashion they come in is fine. Non-critical moments. Attacking. This offense is less about ball control and dinking and dunking and more about challenging the defense, creating space and probing for a handful of big passing plays throughout the game.

Had Osweiler connected on just 1-2 more of his big play attempts per game over the past 2 weeks we'd really be burying these teams.

He could also have 2 more TD's if Fuller held on to the ball, or a 3rd one if Strong did, or a 4th one if the ref called the one by Hopkins a TD first then reviewed and it was too close to overturn....

    Lot of maybes.

I'm fine with interceptions as long as he keeps dropping dimes downfield for TDs.

Let him take shots. Use that big arm.

I'm still not sold on Brock but he is an upgrade over what they've had so far in O'Brien tenure at QB. The offense overall continues to look like a work in progress. Imo the defense will have to continue to carry the team for the foreseeable future. I want to believe in O'Brien and his offense but he and his offense continue to look like they have a long way to go.

I'm not concerned. If some of those dropped passes were caught, or some questionable calls went our way, Brock's/our offense's numbers would look a lot lot better.

This offense is going to be amazing when the running game opens up.

Isn't Brock making like 10x what Siemian is making. Broncos fans will be happy that they let Brock go.

Brock makes throws Fitz and Hoyer can only dream about. He has a very lively arm. If you can't already see he's an upgrade, oh well.

Offense is definitely a work in progress because there are so few returning starters, including just ONE skilled player (Hop). Nobody knows each other yet.
