There is no such thing as "homophobia". That is just one more leftist lie on a very long list. In addition to being a lie, it also a slur. So if you want to object to people using slurs towards you, you would be more persuasive if you refrained from reciprocating with one yourself while registering your objection.

A phobia is a fear of something. Nobody is afraid of homosexuals. Many people regard their sexual practices as disgusting, but that is not a phobia. It is the phobia assertion that is the lie. And you people repeat this lie quite frequently.

No I'm listening. I just think in this particular forum you are going to see people saying things to win an argument that they don't really believe to the core. Oh sure, some of the more extreme posters here on both sides (who will remain nameless) probably could benefit from some introspection. Nevertheless, most of the folks I meet in real life are just avg people who are looking to live and let live. I imagine the same is true here. In my opinion, ascribing terms like "bigot" to people is counterproductive...even if you believe the term is accurate in your mind because it immediately shuts down productive dialogue. I understand this isn't always the point of conversations here...but if there is ever going to be improvement then we have to start talking TO each other rather than AT each other. Peace.
It is not because of fear. As a result, the assertion by you that people who happen to disagree with you on matters of politics are "homophobic" - having a fear of homosexuals - is a flat-out, bold face lie. And every time you repeat that lie, you further establish yourself as a liar. Some people are bigoted towards all people who engage in homosexual practices. That is unfortunate and I wish that were not so. Other people find the sexual practices of homosexuals to be revolting and disgusting, but hold no animosity towards these people as individuals. That is just those people's opinion and they should be entitled to it, unless you people really do believe it is your place to regulate people's thoughts and to force them to always agree with whatever happens to be regarded as politically correct at a given moment. Regardless, the "homophobia" slur is a flat out lie that is used by liars.
