    The way that blacks have been targeted, profiled, and treated across this country by the police has gone on too long, and with video and cell phones the rest of the country is now starting to see just how awful it has been.

    We need change, stop profiling, start treating all people with respect and we need to prosecute police that break the law.

    We should hold police officers to higher standards, if they can't cut it they need to be let go. Up the standards expected up the dialogue, weed out the ones that can't handle themselves and stop racial profiling and this will calm down.

    Keep on doing what has been going on, expect it to escalate - it is human nature.

    You're very naive. All you see is what the media feeds you, which is a tiny, tiny sample size. They know that firing up racial tensions will get viewers, so those are the cherry-picked clips you get to see, which in turn makes you mad.

    So you've come to a conclusion based on a tiny sample size.

    I guess I called it when I said

    Becuase not long after we got this nonsense.

    It's like blaming the 9-11 attacks on those who died and suggesting that they caused it due of middle eastern policy by the west.

    The solutions are easy. Don't break the law. Finish at least high school. Get a job. Don't have kids before getting married. If you do those things, there is about a 98% chance your life will be just fine. You may not be rich, but you will not be living in poverty. If everyone does that, there would be no crime, little to no poverty, and little to no racial tensions. The issue is that people want to fight poverty/racial tensions/etc. without addressing behavior.

    The even more short term solution is to not resist the police when he asks you to do something and show him respect. It's really not that hard.

    I recommend banning poor people from having children but I'm sure the blacks will cry foul again just like with voter ID because it'll hit them the most.
