Idk what that was. Thought the punter was gonna run for the first down and then randomly decided to punt at the last second and it was 3 yards lmaooooo
Honestly, I think it's a good case of proper perspective from the Rice administration. Sure, Bailiff hasn't turned Rice into some kind of superpower, but he does have the best winning percentage of any Rice head coach in the last 50 years. (Caveat...Todd Graham's winning percentage is better, but that was just from going 7-6 in one year, so I'm not counting it) Rice is kind of the place where you have to build a roster up and then tear it back down every few years, and he has a pattern of putting together a big winner every few years when he's had the chance to complete that cycle of tearing down and building back up. Rice only has three ten-win seasons in their history, and two of those have come under Bailiff.
ASU has been really sloppy so far, so that's a big part of it, but the offense that absolutely shredded Texas Tech's defense last week is sitting on six points against UTSA with a minute to go before half. Yeesh.
Sloppy? You are being kind. 28-12 after another muffed punt. Even if ASU comes back to win, this is more proof the Pac 12 is complete trash. If Grambling's starting QB wasn't injured late in the 1st half, I think they would have won at Arizona last week.
This. There's no reason Rice shouldn't be great at hoops and baseball and all the mens and womens "Stanford sports", football should never be in the equation for anything other than financial reasons.
but Lamar Jackson has electricity about him. Confidence. He feels like Randall Cunningham out there. Looks dangerous even if slightly inaccurate. This is a tremendous showing thus far.
I can't get a read on Jackson's NFL potential. Really needs to work on throwing because right now he looks like Braxton Miller did for Ohio St.
Clearly, given the way they stormed back on the opening weekend, FSU is not going to pack it up and go away, but let's just say that it would behoove them to get things in gear. Down 14-0 pretty quickly.
way better arm than braxton miller. he just needs to fix his mechanics, a summer with george whitfield will do him wonders also dalvin cook does not look the same since he put on weight
FSU is going to win. Eventually Louisville will run out of gas and FSU will establish dominance at the line of scrimmage.
george whitfield can turn lamar jackson into a more polished version of colin kaepernick. they have the same football traits. Its gonna take time though
UH fans should be pulling for Louisville right now and pulling for OU later on. It would take Florida State out of the playoff conversation and set up an even bigger matchup against Louisville later on in the season that could clinch a playoff spot for UH.
