How would you feel if the Rockets suddenly got real good...

    and got invaded by bandwagoners who are only here for the good times? You know like 50 percent of Warriors fans.

    Should we welcome them with open arms? They weren't part of the pain and the frustration but are here for the glory. I for one can not stand these type of fans and will accept them.

    Not every fan of every team was a fan from birth. Many of today's fans became fans in 1994 & 1995. Who cares why they become fans as long as they stay fans when times aren't good?

    And if the Rockets suddenly became real good, I wouldn't give a flying f*** who the fans were. I'd just be happy about them being really good.

    a little too worried about others it seems like. that's not something you can control. if they aren't doing any hard towards you, who cares. Worry more about yourself and enjoy it

    Geez, I don't care if fans are bandwagon fans or not, who the hell are we to judge what other people's fandom is like.

    Just enjoy that the team is good and more people are talking about it.

    You should build a wall around the Toyota Center to keep out non-Rocket's fans and have them pay for that wall as well.

    To be grossly generalistic, you can put half of GSW fans into a basket of bandwagoners, which RocketsLegend calls deplorables.

    I would welcome them with open arms. The garm has the ability to educate those who want to learn.
    When I first started reading the board I knew nothing about general mangers or salary caps. Clutchfans Took me from being a casual fan to being well informed fan of the NBA in general.

    There will be idiots, there always are. But there is also the opportunity for there to be a new generation of Jrs and Carl Herreras (pre Patterson trade).

    New blood keeps the board healthy.
