Have followed all the Houston teams since '68, and as we all know the only major Championships the city can claim are the '93/'94 & '94/'95 Rockets back to back titles over the Knicks and Magic. I think we can ALL agree that if Hakeem wasn't a Rocket those Championship banners aren't hanging from the rafters. The '94/'95 title doesn't happen if the trade for Clyde doesn't go down. So just wanted to say THANKS to Hakeem for letting me (as a fan) get to experience what a championship feels like. Oh and where did Hakeem & Clyde come from? Right here in our own backyard at the University of Houston (or "Jacksonville St" as Tinman likes to refer to it as). Carl Herrera was from UH as well.

Sometimes I forget Hakeem and Clyde actually went to U of H. So these guys not ONLY went to school in Houston, but get drafted by a Houston team and end up winning a ring together in Houston. It gets no better than this my friend
