I know there have been articles saying the performance was mediocre or worse, but I don't get it.

I am certainly not a kool-aid drinker and was very skeptical of the Osweiler signing, but the QB I saw on Sunday was the most talented we've had. Moved in the pocket, avoided the rush multiple times, hung in there with his eyes downfield...

 

I think PFF writers disagreed on him. Football Outsiders wrote the most negative piece

How would it "torpedo" our franchise if we can cut him after two years with no penalty? I just never understood that part of the narrative. Considering all the draft capital surrendered by the Eagles and Rams to obtain a QB, the move to sign Oz looked a little questionable at first and then has looked better and better every day since.

Lot of crow going to be served up by the end of the season... I hope.
