You said he hasn't closed games. How many games has he closed in that stretch? He has not been perfect but he's been effective. He's cheap, young and has fantastic stuff. Maybe he's the Astros closer in the future, maybe he isn't, but he is far far away from being this teams problem when it comes to winning games.
Now that there is a true fan. That's how the Astros players should be when playing against the Rangers.
Spoiler Losing a game to these assholes is bad enough. Blowing a 9th inning lead, losing by one run again & losing to this team for the 15th time in 18 games, yeah, you might raise some hell and earn a night in the county jail too! Okay, maybe not the latter. **** YOU RANGERS! Poor guy... Ken Giles, YOU HAD ONE JOB! Jason Castro, YOU HAD ONE JOB! AND YOU BOTH FAILED!
Let me ask you this. Are you confident the Astros will win if Giles comes in with a one run lead in the 9th tomorrow? Are you confident the Astros will win with Giles entering the 9th with a one run lead against Texas, Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, Toronto or Detroit? Do you think the players are confident? Giles isn't the biggest problem with the Astros, but he hasn't been a solution either.
Its gone from anger to comical to depressing man. Its the mavs against the rox all over again. Itll be sweet if we get into the playoffs and beat them though. Not going to hold my breath.
That guy truly is the voice of the fan. He acts out what we all feel, but everybody but him has the civility to keep inside.
Giles has been good. If anything, blame Castro for not only his error but also his pitch calling. There is no reason for Giles to throw fastballs to anyone until they show they can hit his slider.
Yeah this guy looks like he went a little overboard in the stands but I get the frustration. When you see your team you root for not only get dominated by a major rival but also get bent over and cower down like mental midgets it just adds gas to the fire.
New personal hero for me. Couldn't have said it better The guy needs to throw out the first pitch tomorrow

Reminds me of the random guy that decided to strike up a convo during the Texans game Sunday. In the course of explaining to me why Clowney was a terrible pick he said that there were "so many other great players they could have drafted"...then the first guy he mentioned was Tim Tebow. To him 2+2 does equal 4, but algebra is an alien concept.
