Yeah, that seems like a reasonable response to his actions.

His actions aren't reasonable, why would the response to his actions be reasonable?

His actions aren't hurting anyone. Yet, he deserves no help in a life-threatening situation because he kneeled for 90 seconds during a song? Yeah, you lose the moral high ground when that's your case.

You do realize it's a figure of speech. Regardless, Citing personal and safety issues, still wouldn't step off the curb to piss on him if he was on fire. I'm sure he would have a plethora of people he is standing up for that will line up to piss on him.

With all due respect, I'm not looking for any moral high ground.

But his actions are disrespecting the country and by extension other people such as those who have died protecting that country to allow him to be a privileged, disrespectful b*stard. There isn't a shortage of disrespectful bastards in the world and honestly he should have been aborted to begin with. I don't see why you are making such a big deal about it.

You sound like a angry Muslim talking about how everyone "disrespects" his beliefs by drawing caricatures of Mohammed.

In a majority of jurisdictions there is no duty to rescue.

I'm not the one who said it.

I don't think religious figures or flags are sacred and I don't understand why anyone should be compelled to respect either one.

And adding that advocating the murder of children for the same action is something to be applauded.

Why are those opposed to Kaep on the grounds that it disrespects the military ignoring the many comments from current and ex-military in support of him?

No, you're the one who took away something stupid from it though. Anyway, no one should be "compelled" to respect anything.....and I'm not suggesting that anyone be "compelled" to respect anything. I'm merely saying that if you don't then you are a douchebag. Simple as that.

If you feel the need to be a disrespectful little b*stard then people can and probably should call you out for being who you are.

When ex military go on shooting sprees killing cops, should we think highly of the thoughts that led them to it too? There are stupid people everywhere, including the military.

Sure you can find people dumb enough to support Kap anywhere, doesn't make them intelligent or right.

Whatever the case may be, not saving a human life is much worse than someone taking a knee during a song.

Sure it is. But as he is entitled to his freedom of speech , so are we all. Who needs morals when we have rights.

    This.

The only reason this is even a story anymore is because of the people pissed about it and making it a big deal.

I don't see how their brand is at stake here by allowing it. The only way they incur damage is by disallowing it. No one is blaming the team for the actions of the player when that player is making a social protest aimed at the betterment of blacks.

Whether you disagree or not with is actions, the idea that there is a need for this country to take police brutality more seriously and inequality in the justice system shouldn't be debatable. There is a problem.

there is also a problem with blacks killing cops, right? Right?

If you were a NFL player, would you stand or knee? I'm curious.

I disagree. It would be a good PR move to prevent players from disrespecting the country but, well, it's San Francisco after all. Given that Kap sucks at football, it would have been better to just cut the scrub the first time he pulled this PR stunt.
