I hate to say this, but I dont even think Cushing would have been that much of a factor at this point if healthy compared to someone else on the inside. We have Simon, Merciless, and Clowney playing so well

sure but this year we have Bullough and McKinney to make it hurt a little bit less.

I don't know if I'd consider that Hopkins end zone play a drop. That's a catch HE can make but not a whole lot of other guys.

It hit one of his hands and it was within his catch radius, he just turned his head the wrong way and didn't pick it up in the air quickly enough.

His history of injuries has a lot to do with scumbag opponents going for his knees. Didn't it happen twice to him? That's just horrible luck. It's hard to fault Cushing for that. It's so unfortunate because this guy was on his way to being a perennial all-pro.

Sucks about Cushing, such an early blow to the defense.

Loved the 2nd half domination though. Fuller with that sure TD drop, but made up for it with the others, and that low throw for the TD.

Brock with that touch on the ball that we all wished Mallett had. This year could be a special one. Luckily the Texans are trained to live without Cushing.

He almost didn't even look like the number 1 option. It seemed like a lot of his usual touches were going to Fuller. I'm not sure if that is good or bad at this point...

Hopefully Hop doesn't start feeling some type of way about this, especially with his extension on the horizon.

LOL at all of the people wondering about Hopkins. Are you serious? It was one game! Both had five receptions and a touchdown... slow the drama.

Hopkins knows that having Fuller and Miller in his receiving corp will only help him in the long run. They have more than one weapon they have to scheme for.

My guess is KC watches Fuller's tape this week, and shifts the game plan more towards stopping him, freeing up Hopkins who rebounds with a big game next week.

Pretty sure that wouldn't be the attitude if the Texans lost the game.

Losing Cushing shouldnt hurt too much. He was on his way out to begin with.

The good thing about being in the lead is that the colts lost to a team they should best if they are going to win the division and the other two had leads in games they shouldn't win but are the upsets you need to hang on to in order to go from worst to first.
