LOL... I am already down 41 - 3... the team I am playing had C Anderson and K Benjamin. My only hope is Gronk won't play (rumor he didn't take team flight) and somehow I get huuuuuuge games from some players.
So....Spencer Ware or Christine Michael? It's not ideal by any means, but if you had to pick one of the 2 just for week 1, who do you go with and why?
I'm leaning ware because Rawls is questionable but appears he will play and split time with michael, whereas from my understanding Charles is practically for sure out giving ware the undoubted start for the chiefs.
Ware and Michael are both plays this week. If the Hawks get up early they will preserve Rawls and feed C-Mike. Ware is going to get bulk oops vs poor D as well. Probably lean toward Ware.
I am desperate for points... Flex position, Lockett or Dwayne Allen. Read somewhere that Allen is almost a sure bet for a TD. Lockett doesn't start but gets passes thrown his way and also returns.
Im really sure this was autodrafted, since the system first fills the starting lineup then it goes with best player ranked, thats why kicker was so high, and drafted a QB with the first bench slot.
Actually, I drafted it myself...I haven't done fantasy football in about 5 years and I only really followed the Texans and Seahawks last season so my knowledge of players isn't that great. Yahoo fantasy graded my draft the best out of all the teams in my league but I can see where I messed up looking back at how the draft played out.
Ware. He'll get a higher share of the carries than CMike, and he's the clear goal line back. Miami was awful against the run last year, but they are supposedly improved with Alonso in the mix and some guys coming back off injuries. Not sure if it'll play out, but I'm buying that they'll be middle of the pack and at least close to SD in terms of run D.
Jeez... The players I started: Rivers below projected, Allen hurt and below projected, Lamar Miller below projected, Hilton way below projected, Locket below projected, McManus below projected. Didn't play Dwayne Allen (above projected), Shepard (above projected), Mariota (well above projected), and Alex Smith (way above projected). The team I played had Brees, CJ Anderson, Kelvin Benjamin, and MIN defense (two fumbles, two TDs, two sacks). I guess the best way to look at this is I can't get beat worse. But now I need a WR1, and I have no confidence in any of the rest of my starters.
Really not liking this potential RBBC forming in Seattle. Other than that, my week couldn't have gone any better. Everyone on my team is in double digits except for Decker and Cincinnati's defense with 9 points apiece. AJ Green though.
last year I had eddie lacy, this year i have devonta freeman. I think freeman is gonna have a eddie lacy type season from a year ago :/
Moes, tell me about it. Not only my WR1 and second pick in the draft, but the primary target for QB1 (Rivers). Rivers played reasonably well last season missing Allen for a good chunk of the season. But I had a horrible first weekend and my season on the go forward is looking pretty dismal. Funny thing, at one point yesterday (Allen was getting yards, Miller was getting yards, Gordon was scoring) I was projecting somewhere around 112 pts, and now its looks I need a really good night from Jordan Reed or PITT to get a INT or TD to even get close to 80 pts while my opponent had Brees, and MIN defense leading him to a projected 130+ pts. I am looking replacing from available WRs which currently include: Mike Wallace, Tyrell Williams (one of the possible replacements at SD), Travis Benjamin (the more likely replacement at SD), Terrelle Pryor, and Nelson Agholar. UPDATE: nix Travis Benjamin, appears he was also drafted. May also try to trade a package of Melvin Gordon, Dwayne Allen, and Tyler Lockett to a team with lots of WRs, hopefully getting someone like a Marvin Jones, Stefon Diggs, Willie Snead, Michael Thomas, or maybe even Will Fuller (y'all think what I am offering might attract that type of WR)? Any other suggestions?
Coleman was projected to be a factor. I never saw a great reason to buy into the Freeman hype. If there's uncertainty with a 1st round ADP player I say just ignore them. Whiff in the 1st round, your season is probably over.
I think its important in this situation to not panic and offer a trade from a point of weakness. Find whatever you can on the waiver wire and let the next week play out. A better option may present itself then.
Anyone watch the Colts game? Trying to figure out how that other TE vultured two TDs from Dwayne Allen.
