I can't believe these 2 are what we have to choose from. This might be the 1st election where both candidates are trashing other Americans as much or more than the other candidate. smh - Again this is what we get to choose from?
If I was running for president I wouldn't have said such a thing, but since I'm not, they are more than just a "bucket of deplorables." I get why Hilary has to apologize but I just find it ironic that people who are bigoted and hateful are so offended when they are called out on what they are.

Political points aside -- there has been a mainstreaming of a branch of white nationalists who were previously closeted and have now become very vocal for Trump. See the dozen of groups on reddit with 100k+ members. They see a Trump presidency as a validation of their hatred, even if that may not be how it would play out.
