Didn't he previously say he was against that? Also, I had to turn off the tv and take a minute when I heard him say that Russia are on the same side as the USA in the war against ISIS. Unreal!
What did I just watch? Did trump answer any of the questions? Trump is an expert manipulator. The fact that he pretty much bombed this test on foreign policy yet some think he should be president is a testament to his super powers. Matt Lauer just sat there and took it too. Trump defended a tweet about rape! I thought it was amazingly bad he knows absolutely nothing about anything and he doesn't care to learn. He's worse than Sarah "I can see Russia from my house" Palin... The country is in trouble. Big trouble.
Matt Lauer did a terrible job following up on questions where Trump was obviously lying, and demonstrated he had no clue.
It is amazing. You'd almost have thought Lauer didn't want to upset his masters at GE. Trump keeps getting a free ride. Lauer spends 13 minutes on the email subject with Clinton but can't be bothered to call Trump on his lies. The "Russia is on the same side as us" and other pro-Russianisms from Trump were a real doozy. Putin flattered Trump months back and ever since Trump is eating out of his hand. "Plan to defeat ISIS?" I'm sure. "But it's a secret." Trump probably thinks he'll just make an Alliance with Russia and the Syrian dictatorship and then go after ISIS. All so simple.
Sorry, and I will probably offend some, so to cushion that, I will state the following: If you supported Ted Cruz, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported Rand Paul, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported Marco Rubio, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported Jeb Bush, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported John Kasich, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported Mitt Romney in the last election, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you supported John McCain in 2008, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies (although having Sarah Palin as a VP was a bit scary) If you supported Bernie Sanders, I can see why and could see him being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of his policies. If you support Hillary Clinton, I can see why and could see her being an effective President despite my disagreements with some of her policies. If you support Donald Trump, you're being purposefully obtuse or have something seriously wrong with you.
You know what Trump is like? Trump is like what I did one time on this client project. Very, very rarely happens, but one time a client forgot to send their worksheet and I forgot to follow up. Now, the day the resume is due comes up and this client needs it first thing in the morning. And their old resume has very little information. So, at first I make a complete boneheaded decision. I try to put a lot of fluff to fill up the space I was going to use with their actual achievements. Got halfway through, looked at it and thought, "What BS- I gotta make the call." So, I called the client, and he was understandably irked that I waited until the last minute, but we had a talk, I got the info, resume came out great, and I threw in a free cover letter for his time. Trump reminds me of the first part. Doesn't bother to do his research, probably sits around watching Fox News or reading press clippings about himself, and then when he's put on the spot, complete made-up BS. He speaks the language of a complete bull**** artist, and it's not even hidden, it's transparent as ... transparency film. I mean, every politician throws some degree of BS, but his BS is based on a complete lack of knowledge. This is why I never worried about whether he would defeat Hillary. Because of the debates. I would place a $10,000 bet that after the debate smoke clears, Clinton's poll numbers will shoot up even higher. I absolutely know Trump won't let me down and completely blow it. And the debates have a HUGE impact- see 1960, 1980, 2012, etc.
Trump is like that SNL bit they used to have on Weekend Update with Armisen and Wiig making up the songs on the spot.

Yep- hilarious. We're so polarized that those who supported Trump can't go back on it now. They're in too deep. They can't admit how screwed up he is.
Seriously- all you need to do is watch this- they both take shots at the candidate they questioned, but note the clear difference: http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc-news/watch/veterans-sound-off-on-commander-in-chief-forum-760430147945
Yep.... Trump is going to make himself and his supporters look like fools when the real debates start happening.
