Both OSes are good. It depends on what you want. If you care about speed, stability, and a cohesive ecosystem, Apple is for you. Your life becomes much easier if you are invested in the Apple ecosystem and everything it has to offer. If you care about customization, more freedom to install apps, and Google services, Android is better. You can't go wrong with either right now imo.
Announced today will be released on the 16th I believe One big improvement is the ability to record 4K at 60fps With the dual camera setup it'll have No other phone can do that. Not even the exploding note7. That's high quality recording
I believe it's only on the PLUS model. Here is the accidental Amazon page they had up for a short time before taking it down.
That is pretty impressive. That is going to be 10-20MB/s. So its going to be 6GB for like a 10min video. They need to increase their storage space.
that's nice but its going to eat up memory like crazy. If you are in the very small minority that even care about 4k recording you would want to record lots of videos. It kinda sucks you will be limited to recording just a few minutes depending how much memory you usually have on your phone. This is where expandable memory cards are VERY USEFUL. Also I've been a huge fan of apple but I can be objective. Samsung has surpassed apple in design and innovation. Since last years Galaxy S6 Samsung phones have taken way sharper and clearer pictures than iphones. especially the front camera. But the biggest factor is the screen quality. Samsung's OLED displays with 2k resolution is FAR FAR FAR SUPERIOR than apples 1080p LCD panel. To me that's the most important part of the phone. The bezel less curved edges are just extra gravy on top that enhances the design and feel of the phone.
For me, I no longer think in terms of upgrading a phone. I think solely in terms of do I want to upgrade my camera.
Yup. If you are going to do 4k videos, one will get a professional camera. There is much more to a higher quality picture than higher resolution.
So is there no way to charge the phone while using wired headphones anymore or will the adapter still have a spot for that too?
I love iPhones...but I'm not sure how it's an upgrade to REMOVE the feature that lets someone plug headphones in. It's not like that feature was otherwise keeping you from something.
At some point Nintendo had to enter the mobile market and Apple will always be the better platform to launch on. It's just much easier to develop on iOS and as a result, they'll usually get these new partnerships first. Cool to see nonetheless. Glad Nintendo is finally getting on board.
Any news about it being shatterproof and waterproof or were those just rumors? I thought of this back when I had a 3GS. Nintendo should just quit making consoles, stick to handheld and develop games for Sony, Xbox, and Apple. Look at how successful Pokemon Go is.
Haven't gotten to the phone yet. The new Apple Watch is waterproof up to 50 meters. Some other improvements to the watch but they feel fairly incremental.
Can be under water for about 30 minutes Up to 20 meters of water or something like that.. Also there's a new gloss black color and new grey color as well New speakers too
