Dealer gave it to me debadged and I told them to put the badge on when I pick up my plates. Although, I'm kind of digging the clean look. But how else am I show that it's 335 not 328???
I would also debadge since the 340 is out now replacing the 335. I wouldn't debadge a bmw m car or an audi rs or s.
Thanks, got the dealer to throw in brand new 20's. Houston roads are going to be hell on them, but I got the tire and wheel maintenance package so I can mitigate some of that.
I haven't had a front plate on any of my cars in a decade and I have never even had a warning for it.
Definitely not. Cops don't care anymore. They definitely don't pull you over just for it. They might tack it on if you get pulled over for something else, but even then they don't care. I haven't gotten it tacked on the last few speeding tickets.
That front license plate thing varies greatly depending on the type of car and who's driving it. Your mileage may vary.
If you do decide to put the front plate on you can use one of the tow hook plate mounts and save your poor bumper from having holes drilled in it. They're easy to put on and take off and will work for a fixit ticket as well if you need a temporary solution for that sort of thing. I've been pulled over for no front plate twice now so I just leave the damned thing mounted unless it's at the track or I'm giving it a good wash.
Unfortunately, as you can see from the pics above, the car already has the holes drilled in . Still gonna leave the front plate off though.
Unfortunately, my wife got pulled over 2 weeks ago for no front plates. 2010 TSX, no tint, small little Asian girl, in Sugar Land. Lol
