Man Correa has reverted back to his early season approach of just watching very hittable pitches go right past him. Dude needs to be infinitely more aggressive.
Peacock needs to be on an even tighter leash now. This game is ours if he can get through the next 2 innings not giving up another run.
Wow, what an ugly end to that inning. Bregman is truly a star though...not many dudes have the mental fortitude to get over that slump and then destroy. I figured it would take a little longer for Bregman to find his groove.
three of your best hitters wiffed and eddiewassnubbed out of a foul boul reaching for it? would have liked another run.
Kluber is a perennial Cy Young candidate. Give him some credit too. He buckled down...not like it's Peacock over there
Tuve hit one to basically my exact seat in the first. Cant wait till Thursday. I don't get to see the Stros much in this part of the country. Usually I'm working during the one series in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Those are the two closest stadiums to me. Last I saw an Astros game, it was three years ago, I believe. Sat in the outfield bleachers in my Nolan jersey and got heckled by the whole section with a "Robin Ventura!" chant. They were too drunk to realize he was on the Rangers at that time, and that Nolan won.
"Hanging breaking ball"...got lucky on that one. I cant wait for Peacock to sit. He did his job if he gets through 3.
solid job by Peacock. I'd go to the lefty to face Chisenhall and Naquin with Crisp the switch in the middle. Even knowing who the lefty is..
