Actually even if we pretend it's true - which it's not - the biggest difference between Trump hawking fake university degrees and garbage to rubes and running various other swindles and Madoff running a ponzi scheme was the class of victim - basically Trump rips off poor folks, while Madoff's victims were primarily high net worth individual. SO there's a special place in hell for you if you screw with the rich! Not only is your equivalency false, but your analogy did not work out the way you had planned. 0 starts, unlikely to read again.
Let's talk about media bias: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Trump Foundation found to have broken the law, yet receives much less media coverage: <a href="https://t.co/ypj3pQxe1r">https://t.co/ypj3pQxe1r</a> <a href="https://t.co/JbuLD66Lne">pic.twitter.com/JbuLD66Lne</a></p>— Michael Calderone (@mlcalderone) <a href="https://twitter.com/mlcalderone/status/772480047504588800">September 4, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
You don't understand it, but Gary Johnson may not be corrupt but he is utterly unfit to be the president. Not sure why folks like you think you are doing some smart.
Who said it's not a big deal? I certainly didn't. It's just not out of character for Trump or Hillary so it's hard to be surprised when things like this come to light. Since both major party candidates are corrupt, terrible people at some point you just shrug when hearing about yet another instance of corruption. The sad part is that no level of corruption would stop you from voting for Hillary and no level of corruption would stop the Trump people from voting for him.
Its a simple concept. Everything starts somewhere, even if we all started off as amoebas. Its obvious you go with the path of least resistance. Every vote towards libertarian/independent gains support for a third option. It also tells the establishment to get their **** together. Continuing to vote for Hillary or Trump is basically telling the RNC and DNC what they are doing is is ok. One simply needs to look what happened to the RNC when they and their voters refused to budge from their SOP. The DNC is going down the same path.
Starts somewhere? Sure sure. No I merely a realist and you use "honor" or "moral high grounds" to justify your poor choice. Do you honestly believe Johnson is qualified to be the president of the US or you merely voting to show your displeasure? There is a big difference.
Gary Johnson is not going to get elected. But if you must, between Clinton and Trump, I would pick Johnson.
It'd seem to me that Bondi is the star of this show, not Trump (though it's interesting to see you so flip about corruption from our presidential candidates, like ubiquity makes it okay). We rather expect Trump to do what he can to maximize his business opportunities. But, for a government functionary to actually allegedly accept the bribe is a pretty big problem.
Your logic is really poor for someone who "acts" like the smartest guy in the room. Ripping off billionaires and millionaires doesn't hurt them really. They have access to so many financial tools and loopholes that they will be protected and they will figure out how "others" pay for it. Enron is a good example. Regular folks lose everything while millionaire investors have access to financial applications and systems that they can recover or in same cases make even more. The poor always pay even when it doesn't look like it.
What specific act of corruption did Clinton commit (that there is actual evidence for)? And by corruption we mean taking an action for money or favors
SMH, child if you don't realize that Hillary is corrupt without me going through her greatest hits then there's no hope for you.
So you think Johnson would do a better job of governing and leading America than Hillary or Trump? Or is this merely a protest vote? You weren't clear earlier.
Easily true. When the options are Gary Johnson, or the two sides of the same coin that are Trump and Hillary, there really is no alternative to Johnson.
Funny how I see this questions being asked in almost every thread of the D&D and not getting any worthy answer from the opposite side. Every time it will be at best a vague "Well we know that she is". Anything factual ?
I would be disappointed with Trump if he didn't buy her off. This is who he is and the people willing to vote for him would expect nothing less. Hillary is the one getting bought off... so what they are who they are and nobody cares. Vote for somebody else or live with your crooked system and candidates, it isn't complicated.
Wow. Just wow. The rationalization for supporting him is just crazy. Name the biggest instance where she illegally accepted or gave money for a favor please.
So the Libertarian ex-governor whose state employee base is 25% federal (military) with a population of 2 million and GDP of $70 billion is qualified? Interesting...... Was the Mayor of Austin or San Antonio unavailable to lead the most powerful country in the world? How is Johnson going to get stuff through Congress? Congress controlled the country from after to Lincoln up to Teddy Roosevelt, I imagine Johnson would be entirely ineffective and Congress would again run the country.
Johnson. I know after 8 years of Obama some people have forgotten that compromise is important when it comes to getting things through Congress and you can't just demand things to be done as you see fit.....but that's how it's supposed to be. One of the only reasons Bill Clinton was seen as a success is that he managed to work with a hostile congress and he was willing to compromise with them for the best interest of the country. That's what you would get from Johnson. It wouldn't be Republican OR Democrat, it would just be the best interest of the country. It is funny that you knock Johnson for "only" running a state when Hillary has never run anything at all and that's clearly who you are in the tank for.
