It was actually a good 60% UH vs 40% OU fans.

How about the blatant face mask that was missed when the OU player tackled Ward?

    EDIT:

And the phantom interfering with a fair catch call.

    EDIT #2:

The Cougars also got hosed on the incredible catch at the end of the half. Bonner caught the ball with 24 seconds on the clock and fell out of bounds. They clock continued to run. The Cougars had to call a timeout and then the refs only put 18 seconds on the clock. Clearly should have been 24 (at worst, 23).

Of course, the difference between these bad calls and any call you think was bad against OU - The Cougars OVERCAME each of them.

As is tradition in other subforums, here's a live look at texxx after he plays the prediction game:

Houston beat the #3 Sooners while playing far from perfect football (especially on offense). That's big. What a great time to be a Houston Cougars fan. Great things ahead.

Houston is different than most other small conference teams that are very good. Houston is elite up front and in the trenches. Very few small conference teams were like that. TCU would be the last I can think of.

I still think UH loses along the way, but they can compete with anyone.

Just give credit where credit is due. You'll be better for it and you'll feel better as well. UH reps Houston, I'd support Rice if they were doing similar things. It's all bout that H breh.

Was closer to 70/30 Cougar fans I felt. Sooners filled lower bowl one side but that was it, our fans clearly had a larger presence. Electric atmosphere, very reminiscent of the Florida State game. Herman clamped down after the first quarter and Stoops didn't know what to do. Couldn't really detail the defensive side of the ball but how did Oliver look? Hearing good things.

That Kick 6 was the back breaker. OU was done after that.

Our tickets were in the "OU" section but I only saw a handful of OU fans where we sat (endzone). Like you said they seemed to be mainly in the lower bowl.

The story of the game, especially considering OU rushed for a total of 10 yards after the opening drive.

Orlando is an OUTSTANDING coach. His biggest strength (IMO), is in-game adjustments. Wisconsin offered their D coordinator position to him after last season and he turned it down. After this year I definitely think he's going to have head coaching opportunities. Not saying he'd take one (or he's gone), just that he's that good of a coach.

Also, I'm really excited about the things they can do with D'Eriq King. He looked really good the few opportunities he had today.

Why would that fumble get reversed? There wasn't a single replay where you could conclusively see the ballcarrier down with the ball in his possession.
