Dunn's greatest asset was on special teams. Heath outplayed him on the line and players like Grimes and Blue can play his role on special teams. Watt being available to play so soon probably played a factor too. I do think he's a coach favorite so he might be back if available and needed.
Most of these last minute cuts don't mean that much as a lot of them won't even be active on game day.
Apparently this was for financial reasons. Ted Thompson is a cheap man, but even this is surprising. Texans should absolutely go get him if we can. I think he has another 2-3 years of top 10 guard play.
There is absolutely, positively no wau the Texans would ever trade for Aqib Talib. Never in a million years. Bob McNair doesn't allow straight thug trash on his team.
who is denying? for the right price, i'm sure he is available. nobody is going to offer anything higher than a 4th for an older, nutcase of a CB.. should the texans go get him? hell no.
Exclusively guard, but among the best in football at both run and pass protection. Worth pursuing for sure.
He's taken reps there before (in training camp), but it is a tough switch to go from guard to center, especially under a new offense. He is a guard though.
Can't believe they chose Hilliard over Hunt. Shorts I get Dunn outplayed Still & Heath. All 3 should be on the team. Gotta keep Dent though??
Im not really sure why but I'm disappointed Shorts is gone... I liked the versatility he had and he was a weapon in the wildcat but I think we will probably look to move Braxton into that role.
