Greg Ward Jr has been really impressive passing the ball today. Huge improvement from last year (from what I saw). 2nd half will be interesting. You kinda expect the more talented and bigger team to impose their physical dominance in the later stages of the game but the underdog has much more heart and plays with more sense of urgency. Statement first half by UH not only to show they should be in the BIG12, but also to prove they belong in the upper echelon of teams.
As a UT fan, I'm pulling for UH because I hate OU. As a Clutch fan, I'm cheering for UH so that all of these wonderful texxx quotes will be saved for posterity.
I feel like we've been the better team, but damn, Oklahoma has been near perfect too outside their penalties.
Greg Ward's improvement as a passer is impressive. OU refuses to let him run but he's delivering the goods by air. If UH's defense stops allowing huge uncontested plays by air, they have a decent chance to win. Their run D was solid after the opening drive.
