I'm hoping the team can get a 6th rounder for Weeden from someone like Minnesota afraid he'll go to Dallas if cut.

 

Yeah I think Mumphrey has a shot at stealing his roster spot.

 

O'Brien must have them lined out the door.

 

The thing about Shorts is that they didn't really let him play much in the pre-season. For a veteran that's usually a GOOD thing.

 

With Texans o-line issues, there is no chance they only keep 2 QB's.

I don't think they have a need for him unless you want to run that trick play to Blue.

Then again, Braxton can probably do it better.

I disagree, given how hard the cuts are, you don't carry 3 QB's, you carry 2 and pick one up off the couch if things get bad.

 

OBrien didn't keep three QBs last year and did fine despite the injury bug striking.

With the tough cuts already they need that roster spot.
