He's a failed NFL QB that wants to drum up some publicity on his way out of the league as well as create an excuse for why he gets cut.

I'm amazed how many people burned their expensive 3 piece suits
when Congress denied another bill that would benefit Vets greatly

only time people give a damn about Vets is when they can use their wounds and corpses to try and cow someone else into silence

A Tweet I saw was interesting

WHITE PEOPLE: Black People should protest peacefully.
*Black Man quietly sits down in protest*
WHITE PEOPLE: No not that way!

Serious Question: What do you consider the proper way to 'protest'?

It's a perpetual double standard. Our history has really born out that there's no right way to protest racial discrimination without instilling fear and anger in a lot of white people. It's sad. People fawn over MLK today but he was widely hated when he organized and let's not forget he was freaking assassinated after all. What we see today seems like the grandchild thought experiment of they're going to rape your women. The simple phrase black lives matter has literally caused many tens of millions of Americans to flip their ****. Many actually believe these protests are a white hate crusade to the degree that there is a significant white supremacist/nationalist movement arising. That's just messed up.

I'm not sure how this ever changes. Apparently minorities all live in a world of delusion. Don't believe your lying eyes.

Cutting someone whose jersey is regularly getting set on fire does not seem like a difficult thing to do.

Stepping in the poo = having Kaep on your team.

Cutting Kaep = wiping the poo off your shoe.

Stop your crazy talk he is standing up for what he feels is right get over your self. As for getting cut there will be other teams that will take him in a heartbeat.

If he were to be cut I'm sure he would eventually get picked up, but no team is going to take him in a heartbeat. He sucks.

    Baggage...

Field ******s ought to not express their views right Bandwagoner? They ought to keep their mouth shut like a good ******

The man has never been in trouble with the law. His 'baggage' stems from him expressing a poltical view point.

Has anyone actually said CK had no right to protest the treatment of minorities? Has any news agencies taken up the mantle of what he was protesting to bring ideas on how start to fix the problem? All I've seen from leftist media is defending his right to protest, being outraged at the outrage at his vehicle of protest, and promoting division. Fox news has been showing outrage at the vehicle of his protest, calling him a traitor and hypocrite, and promoting division.

At last the news agencies have found a common ground. /rolleyes

    Thanks for waiting.

So you are not pro life but also do not support abortion? Because if you hold either of these opinions asking for a direct quote to prove it seems r****ded. Are you r****ded?

That's a shot that should preclude further discussion. Why so serious?

Backup nfl players can quickly become more trouble than they are worth. Considering the NFL accepts millions from the DoD to promote and recruit the military. Considering the NFL is marketing themselves as America's Game and has flybys. He portrays an image in direct conflict with his companies desired image. If he were sitting down because he wanted homosexuals to be executed there would be a million first amendment cartoons in the thread already.

He is protesting. Protests cause people to get offended because it upsets the regular flow of things and is usually counter to the prevailing public opinion. I don't think you need to worry too much about people getting offended by a protest. It disrupts things and forces people to contemplate things outside of their everyday experience.

And I don't think the tweet is that interesting. There has been some controversy about his actions, but it's been pretty muted for the most part. This isn't some kind of Ali-esque moment. Plus he didn't really have too much to say other than he thinks America oppresses American blacks. If he had more to say then I missed it.

He has also shown through his actions that the vast majority of American blacks continue to feel separate from American society as a whole based on the support for his actions. I don't know what to do about that other than to simply act like a good person and treat people like people and disregard their outward appearance.

A total side note...at what point will being "black" just be about simply identifying as such? I mean Kaepernick almost looks Middle Eastern or Hispanic to me. Rodney Harrison didn't even know he was mixed lol.

I agree 100%. Trump is a piece of trash. I hate having arguments with my dad who doesn't seem to recognize that America and the world is actually doing pretty damn good right now.
