LOL, it's clear you have some mother abandonment issues here, so I'll just say at least she didn't abort you and leave it at that.

My biological parents raised me. They didn't believe in creating children and leaving them for somebody else to raise. They came from better stock than that.

Ah, so it's just that you can't empathize with those who struggle? Gotcha. I mean, I agree, Colin Kaepernick should have been aborted instead of given up for adoption, but I empathize with his mother who loved her kid enough to allow him to live instead of doing the easy thing or giving him a hard life.

I guess we were just raised differently.

They key is they didn't plan it. She made the best decision for her child and put him for adoption and I'd say it worked out for him.

You are upset that the little b*stard was given up for adoption when his mom clearly should have aborted him. I get it. In a perfect world when his biological father ran out on his impoverished biological mother she would have had it taken care of. Unfortunately, she didn't do that and instead went through the 9 months of expensive hell before setting him up with a life of luxury.

On that we see eye to eye, she shouldn't have given him up, she should have had him killed while he was still a fetus because she couldn't afford to raise him.

What kind of person engages in sexual activity and at least consider the possibility that a child might result from it? That is how babies get here after all. Sounds very irresponsible and selfish IMHO. Condoms exist for a reason.

Yes it did work out for Kaepernick, because his real parents came to his rescue and decided to raise him.

Direct quote the post in which I said I agree with abortion.

Condoms aren't 100% effective (Just ask my brother). She probably made a bad choice at the time of conception, but made a good choice in putting him up for adoption. He wasn't rescued. Healthy infants are always in demand for adoptions.

Well it was the reasonable decision to make when you are a poor 19 year old kid and some guy knocks you up and instantly abandons you. It makes absolutely no sense to go through with the pregnancy. Unfortunately for whatever reason she made the mistake of struggling through the pregnancy instead of going for the obvious correct choice of having the b*stard taken care of and working on her choice of men in her life.

Then again, it was the 80's, those mistakes are much more rare today so that's a good thing.

I think it's pointless to argue the morality and decision making of Kaepernick's biological mother.

There are pluses and minuses to her keeping him as well as giving him up. I don't think we know what her situation was at the time of the pregnancy in any depth at all. We certainly haven't walked a mile in her shoes.

She may or may not have made the right decision to give him up.

Either way, I understand Kaepernick's bitterness at being being given up by the woman that birthed him. That can definitely make a person feel bad and defensive.

Either way we don't know for sure who was right or wrong in the decision to give him up for adoption.

I think his father is quite proud of his son being an NFL quarterback, maintaining a 4.0 GPA during highschool and also being drafted into the MLB.

    So you are a pro-lifer.

Who insists on dehumanizing a woman who chose life by using a vague pejorative term that clearly needed clarification to even be understood.

with no idea about the realities of bringing a life into the world.

Your position is untenable. I suspect it comes from a place of irrational hate.

Trump said our country is going to hell just now at his speech.

What a turd to say something like that about our nation while our brave soldiers are defending this great nation.

That is much worse than a QB sitting down during our anthem. What a disrespectful guy Trump is. Just think of our soldiers fighting over seas hearing Trump say that. Not to mention the disrespect to our veterans.
