Doesn't that pic pretty much take away whatever credibility and/or credence Kaepernick might have had on this issue? Not so much the Malcolm X cap (although that says an awful lot by itself) but won't stand for the flag, but WILL wear a Castro shirt? WTF???

You're no better than Trump.... I can see why you love him so much..

Instead of wanting to hear about the issues to come with a solution you would rather throw blame somewhere else.

Interesting that he is making it harder for the 49ers to dump him and harder for another team to pick him up.

If he ever plays for another team it will be interesting to see the "I just want to play football and be the best team mate I can be" speech.

The problem is that the "issue" has pretty massive issues when it comes to legitimacy and credibility that you'd like to ignore.

He's making it way, way easier for the 49ers to dump him...

They already attempted to trade him before he went all Malcom X on us and nobody was biting.

huh, when did I do that? I'm justing point out the hypocrisy. Do these idiot "activists" really believe all the problems in the black community solely revolves around cops? I would have more respect for Kaep if he really wanted to change the inner problems in the community but instead he just repeats the same crap he reads on twitter.

You'll never know until you call or sit down with the individual....

Getting your info from Harvard studies and then saying you know how to fix the African American Community is pure BS...

Sit with the people and listen to them to find out the real issues.. Not Pastors that you are paying to say I went into the Black Community and talked to the people.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE????

Dumping him before this mess would just be seen as a financial + football move. Now it has an entirely new dynamic. They don't want to be seen as dumping him for this and stepping in the poo.

Some does revolve around SOME cops, not all cops...

So instead of throwing things around go into the neighborhood and TALK TO THE people and NOT AT THEM....

When will these hacktivists bring up the numbers of babies born out of wedlock in the black community? When?

The castro shirt was when he was a commander fighting right wing oppression.
At that point in time, blacks in the U.S were enduring the same. apparently you couldn't even use the same bathrooms as whites. The twilight zone twist, eventually castro would turn into the filth, even a worse version, of the government he despised.

But the shirt is legit to its history. I would have worn one of Bush and Noriega just for kicks.

When Colin gets cut for being a overrated QB after this week, what is the national media gonna say???

The fact is that this was most likely a ploy by a QB who had a brief moment of success when he was paired up with a great head coach...AND then found a way to revert back to the norm...He really is on the verge of losing his spot to Blaine Gabbert...

As I have said earlier in this thread. All of this protest BS isnt gonna mean anything if he doesnt perform on the field. He has a lot riding on his career.

Gabbert, and Thad Lewis will make the team.

So what do you do when you sit down with them and hear them out and the things they are saying are illegitimate? How do you convince someone that truly believes they are being oppressed when there's no real evidence of it? What do you do when their "evidence" of oppression ends up being bunk time and time again?

What do you do when the real changes that need to be made are within the black community and are cultural in nature?

    What then?

As soon as the right gives a damn about it by helping to do anything about it. The right is completely silent on black on black crime, black unemployment, black single parenthood, black education, etc until someone brings up police brutality. Then it's all you want to talk about. Clown show.

The problem is he will never know until he HEARS the people and LISTEN to the people and try to WALK in their shoes..

So until then, how can we say the issues are illegitimate..

So apparently Kaepernick's incubator (biological mother) thinks he's bring shame on the "family". Maybe if she would have raised him better..........oh wait, she couldn't be bothered to do that

We can say the issues are illegitimate because every alleged instance that is brought up as evidence turns out to be bogus. Again though, those same people who THINK that they are being oppressed need to take a look at themselves and re-evaluate their situation....maybe take a bit of responsibility for things they've done to themselves instead of trying to blame it on "the man".

This isn't the 1960's, this isn't the 1860's, the same old rhetoric just doesn't apply. If people want to improve their situation, they have to improve themselves.
