So the car jacker was trying to steal a car while already in a car of his own? This reminds me of Kramer's story about attempting to return the pants he was wearing.
This really seems like a terrible sequence of unfortunate circumstances. I hope the cops really did announce who they were before they pulled the trigger. This story is just terrible, and the only person who is getting away unscathed is the actually criminal who started it all.

If you do a google image search you'll see a bunch of pictures of Thurman Thomas at a job interview for Men's Wearhouse. They don't mention his condition either, but the police refer to it as a tragic incident. Telling the police the guy had a gun and then walking out of his driveway with a gun probably creates a tricky visual for a responding officer.
The article says it was a misunderstanding. Wait until someone cries police brutality and then pull out the line about coming at cops with a gun.
What is the point of this story? Air Langhi trying to stir up racial tensions? If we ever wonder why we have racial tensions, its people like the OP. Turning a tragic incident into a race issue.
If he wasn't black, you wouldn't have heard about it because it wouldn't be a story. Any time a black man dies for any reason, it's front page news and clear evidence of racism. Get with the program.
For all the cops knew, they were responding to a black male suspect in an aggressive armed car jacking of a black car. When cops pull up to a black car, they see a black male with a firearm matching the description. The cops jumped the gun by shooting first, but to push the narrative of racist cops is dishonest and shameful.
exactly , -cops were confused , Black suspect and Black car ,what are they supposed to do! Which is eventually Air Langhi's fault no needs to legalize mar1juana, when people express their opinions above .
Absolutely, and the numbers that show more white people get shot and killed by police every year than any other group kind of indicates that too even if you don't have the common sense to know it instinctively. When cops are responding to reports of a potentially dangerous armed criminal and as they show up someone fitting the basic description comes out with a gun drawn on them, more often than not they are going to shoot them. Of course, that wouldn't further any r****ded narratives, so when something like that happens, it would never make national news. Hell it wouldn't even make newspapers statewide. It would be a local story for a day and people would call the guy an idiot and move on with their lives.
