I'm so tired of them marching Sipp out there he is absolutely useless and a guaranteed disaster waiting to happen
feliz should still be ahead of any newbie they bring up but not throwing harris in there in the 8th, where he is nails, was surprising. Putting in sipp, that's just waving the white flag.
Stros better go 4-2 (or better) vs TEX... that's just for wildcard. Need to play better than good to make playoffs, not sweeping hurts.
Jon Singleton wasn't as bad as Reed is showing. 1b and pitching has to be the main priorities this off season.
Meh, would have been nice to get the sweep but 2 of 3 is fine. Winning series is the most important thing. It's always funny how poorly some fans take losses in baseball considering even the best teams lose over 40% of them time. Gotta win every game, 7 of 9 just isn't good enough.

2 of 3 against the Rays is fine; especially with facing Archer. They Astros need to avoid 3-4-5 game losing streaks at this point. We will have a pretty good idea of whether the Astros are making the playoffs or not by September 14th. September: 6 with Tex.... 4 with CLV....3 with CHC.... Those three teams are a combined 233-156.
Only reason not sweeping hurts is because of our next 15 games. Could really use a sweep against Oakland, but we always struggle with them. Cleveland, 2x Texas, Chicago, Seattle - this is the stretch where our playoff hopes are reaffirmed or shattered.
Given the hole we have dug, those kind of comments are not far from the truth if we are to make the playoffs.
