Simple thread. Predict the season. What say you Clutchfans? How many wins will we get this year? I say 10-6 and win the division.
Oline looks really rough, JJ being out hurts, but Covington and Clowney are looking like they might hold us up until he gets back. Even with the Oline troubles, I just can't see this team being unable to win ONE more game than last years team. 10/11 returning defensive starters, upgrades all over the offense. That has to mean at least one more win..... right? 11-5 for me.
If this schedule is soft, then last year's schedule was a creampuff, and we still only managed to win 9 games.
11-5. Best team, talent wise, in franchise history. Best coaching staff in franchise history. I don't cae how tough the schedule looks. We have the talent, the toughness, amd the coaching staff to compete with the tough teams. We need to stsrt playing at the same level as the tough teams. This is the year, the first in a while, and maybe the second eber, where teams will view us as a "tough" team.
Spoiler 1. Bears 2. Chiefs 3. @Patriots 4. Titans 5. @Vikings 6. Colts 7. @Broncos 8. Lions 9. Bye 10. @Jaguars 11. @Raiders 12. Chargers 13. @Packers 14. @Colts 15. Jaguars 16. Bengals 17. @Titans 9-7ish — what that's good for . . . ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
9-7 Osweiler has a QB rating in the 70's. Typical Texans.... Continuing to waste the greatest defensive player in NFL history.
1. Bears W 2. Chiefs L 3. @Patriots L 4. Titans W 5. @Vikings L 6. Colts L 7. @Broncos W 8. Lions W 9. Bye W 10. @Jaguars W 11. @Raiders W 12. Chargers W 13. @Packers W 14. @Colts L... 15. Jaguars W 16. Bengals L 17. @Titans W 10-6
"soft" schedule...lol, come on. We have an incredibly talented team, if healthy, so we could win around 10-11 games if we dont have our stars miss too much time. However, the schedule is definitely not easy.
Last year they were weighed down by Hoyer, if even Yates was the starter all year they'd have one another few games. 1. Bears W Absolutely terrible team 2. Chiefs L They've got our number so I'll predict a loss. 3. @Patriots W No Brady plus they've lost their right guard and right tackle, there's no excuse in losing this one 4. Titans W The Titans are terrible 5. @Vikings W The Vikings have a good defense but they have no offense outside of AD. 6. Colts W The Texans usually win one so I'll predict the home game as the win 7. @Broncos L I'll play it safe and count this as a loss but it's VERY winnable. 8. Lions W The Lions are terrible 9. Bye 10. @Jaguars WThe Jags are still the Jags 11. @Raiders W The Raiders have done a lot of good things lately, but I don't think they are a finished product, I think the Texans win. 12. Chargers W The Chargers are terrible 13. @Packers L They are the Packers. 14. @Colts L Playing it safe and giving the Colts a game. 15. Jaguars W The Jags are the Jags 16. Bengals W The Texans always beat the Bengals 17. @Titans W The Titans are still terrible. That's a conservative guess and it's still 11-5[/QUOTE] See above, is it really a tough schedule? Normally it would suck to have to play the Pats, but they will be without Brady so that's no longer a tough game. Other than the Packers, how many really tough games are there?
Make that 12-4. To be fair, my actual guess is more like 10-6 because craziness happens and I like to allow for that, but the schedule isn't brutal.
