Obamacare was a typical liberal program. Reward the poor, erode the middle class and little impact on the wealthy.

The refusing treatment to ER patients wouldn't fly. You get EMS response picking up a gun shot victim without identification or an insurance card on them, that person is still going to receive life changing treatment. Likewise if even a criminal gang member's body is dumped in front of the ER by their crew or the indentured walk in looking to coax their way into a painkiller fix by faking symptoms.

Just like Romneycare from the 2012 republican presidential nominee?

Just like the other Republican "plans"....?

....Why are you so eager to be played for a fool?

Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Your middle class has too much private debt and has eroded itself.

I'd prefer not to "reward" the poor and increase the costs of unhealthy foods and behavior. It makes zero sense to provide food stamps for cheap processed food and Medicaid. I am much more pragmatic than you would think.

You deflected earlier.... Do you usually wait 6 years to decide if a program "fails" or not?

I want solutions and I am defending those who actually trying to solve our country's issues.

I have no respect for those who complain and offer nothing but feet dragging. So keep it up jester.

There were tons of people who said from day 1 that it was going to fail for exactly the reasons it eventually failed. There were signs all along that it would fail and every time they were brought up people like you would defend the program saying that it hadn't failed yet. It was obvious to a ton of people, but you blindly kept defending it....and you still do. It's kind of crazy actually.

It's like if a person were to argue with another that was planning on getting into their car and driving off a cliff. They argue back and forth with the one person suggesting that driving in that direction was foolish and the other saying that it would be a great idea.....and then after they crash at the bottom, the person in the car said "at least I was trying to do something".

Going in the wrong direction, even with good intentions, is a bad thing.

Is it your opinion that health care was fine before Obamacare and heading in a better direction?

No I defend action over inaction.

You are essentially admitting that the GOP is too lazy and/or incompetent to do anything.

The other person should have done something more than argue then they'd both be alive. Get it?

Yet you have no evidence to back your claim. You are just making stuff up as usual.

But please someone show me where the GOP had offered healthcare solutions during the ACA process and were shot down. Once the public option was dropped.... where were all the GOP solutions that got shot down by the democratic majority?

No, it's my opinion that health care had problems and Obamacare did nothing to make those any better while creating new problems. It was just an ill conceived idea that does nothing to help the problem and only serves to expand government, IE the main goal of EVERY plan proposed by Democrats.

    Seriously?

The poor get huge subsidies, making it much more affordable for them.

The middle class are easily paying double on average.

The wealthy are paying the same as the middle class. If someone is making 75k a year vs someone making 300k a year, who do you think a $500 a month premium is going to hurt more?

I dont need graphs, statistics and research to make an obvious correlation. Obamacare clobbers the middle class.

Of course you don't want to use charts or graphs or research or studies as that would show how ridiculously untrue your claim is.

There are a lot of middle class people who run their own businesses that now have an opportunity to get health insurance. Tens of thousands of people die each year because they can't get affordable health care and health care costs are the number one cause of bankruptcy. Getting people affordable health insurance when they had none isn't a reward, it's just basic humanity. Your post is simplistic garbage.

Dude, anyone in the past could get coverage except for those with pre-existing conditions. I am not talking about pre-existing conditions. You're bringing a strawman into the argument, as usual. preexisting conditions covers all the classes.

And its obviously not affordable health care if its failing miserably.

That's just how it is man, if you were open minded enough to see things for what they are, you'd see it too. Look at any idea the Democrats come up with, they ALWAYS expand government, that's priority 1.

Those costs just don't magically disappear through inaction.
