Looks like a 2pm start, if current activity don't multiply. The news about Valbuena is terrible, but if Bregman can mostly maintain his current game, and we get one more bat going (Gurriel, Teoscar, White) the lineup will be season's best. Two or more guys mashing would be extra nice. Now, pitching?
lol, rolling your eyes at that. whatever. just a suggestion. I think forecasts can be fairly accurate a few hours in advance and might improve overall playability, especially when dealing with day games. (Would also be nicer for the fans.)
And if they are not? It would be foolish to postpone a game based on a forecast if there isn't subsequently a single drop of rain.
Yeah, meant Reed... But who knows, with injuries and expanded rosters White probably still plays again.
Mlb should just award the victory in the fourth game, should there be a delay, to the team with the best runs scored/runs allowed in the prior three games combined. astros 32 runs, Orioles 23.
If they postponed 10 games a season, and it improved the experience in 7 of them, it would possibly be worth the issue you described. Just saying it might be worth considering.
