Astros currently have 3 players in the top 10 (well Springer, Correa, Eaton tied for 8-11) in WAR among all position players in baseball atm. I remember like a month ago, Lindor was sitting at like 4.1 WAR whereas Correa was at 3.7ish WAR. Correa's improved defense and power surge has now had him leap past Lindor who was 4.7 WAR.
Springer now with 92 runs, and Altuve with 89. Have to go all the way back to 08 when Big Puma was the last to score 100 for us. Altuve with 81 RBI, and Correa with 84. Gotta go back to 2009 when Carlos Lee was the last to drive in 100. The big 3 indeed, but it's starting to feel like a big 4.
Bregman is hitting. Reed and White are gonna heat up and Gurriel is gonna be a surprise. If Keuchel and McHugh can somehow get some outs we can make a run. The bullpen had to keep it together too.
I would be willing to make a tip jar bet that Correa will break lance Berkman's all time single season RBI record with the Astros next year.
What a gem by Fiers. Alex tuve'd all over the place. Sucks what J.R posted about Valgoodness. Really miss him.
Perhaps. For now, the more compelling race is the OPS battle between him and Springer. Prior to yesterday, they were neck and neck with almost identical OBP and slugging numbers.

With the exception of Marwin (and Keuchel), I wouldn't mind seeing those names on Opening Day next year.
We went from set on Starting Pitching to weakest link in one year. We need to spend some money on an ace. Unload the rest to keep our top 4 core players.
Nice stat history. Makes Bagwell's 6 consecutive seasons of 100 RBIs, Runs, and Walks seem more amazing. I imagine Lance is last with 100 walks.
Agree, but Bagwell's streak did come in the peak of the roids era. To say, run scoring was through the roof at that time across the board. I think at least 10-20% higher than today.
rain scheduled to let up by 530/6. Wish they would look at the forecast in the morning sometimes and just preemptively postpone
