Don't look now, but Springer leads MLB in 2 good catagories ....

    GP and AB
Disappointed?... don't be... health was somewhat an issue coming into this season
The bold looks good on baseball-reference too ;)

Altuve is amazing. Shame if he doesn't MVP. I wouldn't say it's impossible for non-playoff, but we can't be 3+ games out.

pretty amazing that peacock survived both our zillion transactions of the past 3 or so years, and is playing with the big league club again. not giving him credit or anything, just seems rather unlikely to have happened.

:( And very dumb in that situation unless you knoooowwww

Nah, among other times, most recently you spewed some foolishness in that Blue Jay thread.

So you know that means, right.... Take one for the team!! ;)

Bagwell was awesome and my favorite Astro, but Berkman could be deemed better due to postseason. Hurts to say.. and recall.

Do we give him another chance at starting before the season is up? I'd like to see him in the rotation.

I think so after watching the starters over the last few weeks why not give him another chance.

Maybe these numbers include tonight's games... Astros are #3 in the AL in doubles.

    BOS - 266
    CLE - 227
    HOU - 223

Musgrove, Devenski, Martes, Paulino, Rodgers, & even Feliz have to get consideration for the rotation next year. That is a lot of arms. Would definitely like to see Devenski, Musgrove, or both spend in the rotation to prove if they should be penciled in to the rotation next year.

You kinda missed the joke there, it must have taken a right turn off of your oval track, but do describe the foolishness you speak of.

Feeling safe saying the Bregman we hoped for has arrived.

I'd rather see both Musgrove and Devenski as long relievers.

I am still not certain that Mccullers is a superstar pitcher. And I don't have any clue wants wrong with Dallas.k.

The astros need some starters, point blank. I would feel much more cofortable if the astros still had Vincent Velezques. And then we could go after a real veteran #2, with that and having a solid pen like we have we could really do something.

Bregman hitting 310 since his opening skid.

    Already our second best hitter.

I'd love to see Devenski & Musgrove given a chance at staying in the rotation for the remainder of the season. Once Lance comes back, roll with Dallas/Fister/Lance/Devenski/Musgrove - see if we can come back next year with this same rotation and have success or if we need some moves in the Offseason. Fiers & Colin don't serve

Devenski has been an amazing long reliever, but is there any reason to think that won't translate to a starting role?
