    Sighs! Defense is overrated.

Will McHugh give up 10 before he finally gets pulled?

How many pitches does McHugh want to bounce into the dirt tonight?

That is correct. Brett Anderson, Iwakuma, Volquez, Cashner, Fister, Hill, Hellickson, Lewis are the biggest SPs. Trade market may actually be more costly this offseason.

Watching the Astros has gone from enjoyable to torture.

Not really sure why I schedule my days and nights around the Astros games...I have issues and I need to get that addressed ASAP. I should learn a new language or do some charitable events instead of wasting away watching a team that frustrates me for 3 hours on a daily basis.

I'll give it another week.

Not as bad on replay, but Teoscar needs to charge much harder on a potential play at the plate. Looks very tentative about timing of his steps and getting glove on the ball

Nice throw hernandez. Gattis is garbage behind the plate. Here the orioles are trying to give us this game. We refuse to win.

not a terrible thing if they're good pitches and it's what's called. If the catcher is expecting it, he should block it

Bregman looking like a keeper now. The jury is still out on their other big prospect Reed.

Think of how good he'd be if they has sent him right back down after 10 games or so?

Or if they'd called him up in June for him to start taking his lumps earlier...

He's an awesome hitter thus far. Nice compact swing. Definitely raising that previously thought of low ceiling.

    Baseball is amazing

    Evan Gattis
    2015 - 11 triples / 0 stolen bases (one career 3B pre-'15)
    2016 - 0 triples / 2 stolen bases (zero career SBs pre-'16)

I think the widely held opinion around the draft was that Bregman had a high floor but lower ceiling than Swanson, among others. I read a lot of "nearly ML ready, but closer to a 1-or-2-time-all-star vs. a superstar"
