pitching is falling apart and we're fighting with swords in the 6-9 spots, while the opposition, even the bad ones have at least a musket in those spots. Losing Valbuena was tragic. aint' even mad. as long as we replace the DH with a pro hitter or 2.
At Camden for my first time. Pretty nice. Feels like Minute Maid with the roof removed, and maybe 10% nicer, factoring in amenities too. Probably had a nicer feel to it before an enormous Hilton was hulking over left center and killing the skyline.
The top teams are coming together and getting better down the stretch while we are regressing. We are average at best and our record says that. What a disappointing season and what a disappointing spiral right when we needed to play good ball.
I'm in disbelief. Having a bad team is one thing. Having a team underperform to this extent....goodness, what to say? Some bad luck, some tough breaks, some plain old sucking. Something has got to give. How about that? Attaboy Reed. Make that look easy.
