So, you're factually wrong on that one. And it's perfectly reasonable for Muslims to be more fearful of violence with the anti-Muslim rhetoric put forth by Trump and his clown posse. Considering the crime took place in New York, Trump's home town, it's understandable why they would suspect it could be a hate crime. It might not be but it's understandable why people might think so.
