I don't know what it is about Sean Jones, but he just rubs me the wrong way. He just seems like a bitter ex-player who's being forced to do radio even though he finds it demeaning. Everything he says has a "Get off my lawn!" vibe to it, IMO.
We are going to be similar to the Chiefs offensively. Dink and dunk for safe passing downs. Second and short, third and short take shots to Fuller and Hopkins or run the ball with Lamar Miller.
You're right. I like MAD and triple threat, the 3 that are on during my drive home from work, I only like Dante Hall. Lopez and Cody annoy me. I only get to listen to triple threat if I'm in my car during lunch, but I like them. Seth Payne and Ted Johnson and Dante Hall... all the ex players are my favorites lol
One minor difference, a dinky passes to B. Miller, L. Miller, Fuller, and Ervin, could actually be large plays. I don't think the Chiefs have anyone on their offense that can be a threat for that other than Charles. Defenses are about equal. I would take the chiefs team plus a little more offensive speed. They went 11-5 into 2nd round last year.
More PDS: Hasn’t been said enough. Lamar Miller is having a good camp. Don’t give him daylight, he will find it and go. Saints found out today #Texans Osweiler is getting comfortable with Miller in the passing game and figuring out linebackers have no chance in coverage.
If all this plays out, I don't understand how the Dolphins organization didn't see this and use it? runs and short passes, he is lightning quick. I could be the coach and work with this.....
What do you mean you don't know what it is? THAT IS WHAT IS! He is your typical old jock. He craps on new things, old stuff is always better, he knows more because he played the game, he understands everything you understand nothing, takes shots at everyone, Texans are terrible, etc. He also plays the worn out "Nobody wants to be in Houston" schtick. It's like listening to an ex player version of a GARM troll. That stuff works though when teams are mediocre, bad or unknown.
Our QB has a game manager style to his game. I don't think he will be airing it out as much as you think. He has the weapons to do so. If you watch him when he was on the Broncos, he tossed it back in the flats plenty of times.
But when there was a need (the closing drive of that Pats game) he aired it out back to back to get them to the 10 yd line. he will do it..
I hope not, but he seems to show those tendencies. Has had an ok y/a attempt so far in his career though
Aaron Wilson @AaronWilson_NFL Bill O'Brien 'I really like this team. I'm not a genie.' BOB on Osweiler: 'I like where he's at' Aug 18, 2016, 11:13 AM BOB on Lamar Miller: He fought through a head cold, practiced very well
what does B.O.B mean by he is not a genie? I thought genies granted wishes not told the future. maybe they can do both, situational wish telling.
Right. I didn't get the I'm not a genie thing. Only way I can take it is that he couldn't just have his oeefect team in place from the start. He's not a genie. But now, he's finally got some of the pieces he wanted for his vision.
I mean it is worrisome. He had Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas who inflated those numbers being the big time play makers they were. Believe it or not, Hoyer didn't have that bad a year last year when you think of the lack of YAC ability on the Texans. Which brings me to Jacksonville and how overrated Blake Bortles is throwing the ball in competitive game situations. The Texans came in to this season with a game plan. We saw Hoyer lose the game for us and another guy not lose the game for their team. This team knows its defense is good and possibly becoming better with Clowney's emergence. They believe they are actually one Alex Smith away from competing for a championship. They feel Brock can be similar without the same running ability. I think our defense with a fully healthy JJ Watt and JD Clowney is going to be top three in football. I've been to 3 Training camp practices this past few weeks and JD looks to be on Watt level when rushing the passer. He had some dominant flashes last year. Patriot game for one. Absolutely not ready to be called a bust at this moment. And that ladies and Gentleman is how my brain works. All over the place.
You just murdered any credibility you ever had when it comes to football with that one statement. He was one of, if not the worst QB in the NFL last season and I don't just mean among starters. There is no way you can turn that garbage into a positive.

His playoff game was the worst ever...but his regular season was decent. Dont let your "Mallet is better than Hoyer" agenda cloud your judgement.
