Only 2 1/2 month and we have basketball again.

But getting Rudy Gay would be a solid move. He's been on some bad teams.

Eric Gordan, Ryan Anderson, Harden, Nene, and Rudy Gay make a solid starting 5. It give us solid offense and the personnel to run DAntonis system.

Hi Codman, I have never even had a conversation with you, but sorry to hear that you are fighting cancer. Few years back I had testicular cancer. Cut one of my nuts out and gave me radiation. Couple of months later it came back in my neck. I had chemo then radiation again. They literally bolted my head to a table to keep me still while shooting me in the neck.

Point is it is all gone. Been six - seven, years now and no problems or lingering effects. My doctor uses the term cured, not five years out. They do amazing things now days. Listen to your doctors, take your medicine, feel like ****, pay some dues, and get better. It really can happen.

And drop us a line from time to time.

He's referring to Trevor. He's mentioned before how much he'd hate to see Trevor leave.

    Keep fighting Codman :)

Not sure I am that excited to see our last plus defender leave. I guess we are doubling down on this all offense no defense thing. If Trevor is leaving, he better be taking Brewer with him.

Understand the plus defender comment totally. Ariza is a huge possession creator with his defense. He'd be fantastic on a team where he was the 5th option offensively. Unfortunately for us at this time we're still looking for our second option. Anderson is a good third option. As is Millsap, who is also a possession creator like Trevor.

But we still need that clear second option. It's not there. And we aren't anywhere near good enough without that clear second option. Which is why Trevor may have to go in favor of better second, fourth, and fifth options.

However if we lose Trevor in trade look fiot at least one incoming player who is a similar possession creator coming in such as Millsap or Rubio, guys that create offensive possessions by turning the opponent over with steals, changed drawn, offensive rebounds, and quality D that faces the opponent to take more virtually unmakeable shots.

Millsap and Rubio both fit that bill and may come cheap enough. With plenty of assets left over to acquire DeMarcus.....er...the second option.

We're in the ballpark here on a lot of things. Gay could actually wind up in Atlanta.
