Yeah if there was really any chance it was a "hate crime" you wouldn't have the police coming out and saying this early that it isn't one. Usually when there's any serious chance of that they just say that it's too soon to tell. Then again, that isn't going to stop those who want to politicize this as if it was a Trump ordered hate crime and there's just not much you can do to talk sense into people like that.

I would say the motive is unclear either way at this moment.

there are over 200,000 homicide cases in the US in the past decades , 2/3rd of those cases ended without identified suspects, this is not the problem ,the problem if the Police found the nearby halal meat owner to be the suspect, very disappointing

 

Well IF it were a hate crime (of which there is literally no evidence) and IF it were a Trump supporter (which is unlikely because almost no one supports Trump) then I could see giving Trump some blame due to his irresponsible rhetoric. Problem is, it's VERY unlikely for any of that to be the case in this incident so people selling that BS are setting themselves up to be embarrassed just like the "hands up, don't shoot" crowd. Hopefully if that happens Obama's DOJ will come out with a report showing that they did find someone in the city that was bigoted against Muslims to make them feel better.

That having been said, the face in the suspect sketch looks like he could be South Asian. I'm not 100% in on the hate crime angle until they get more evidence.

^^^Also...to note...in that video...you can see 2 vehicles passing by. The first was a white (volvo looking vehicle) and the second vehicle was a SUV that was approaching the scene of the murder. Hope someone saw his face...This was a very specific murder.
