Players getting tossed way too quickly.

Warning track power outs all game for the team, frustrating.

Damn tough loss. Bregman, Correa and Reed twice all about a foot short of a homer today.

Please no more breaking balls right down the middle Hoyt

merry christmas, toronto. The rangers got one last week by sending sipp out there in a crucial must perform situation.

hope to hear that gregerson, pat, feliz and harris all had food poisoning from some french bistro in toronto. There is a day off monday.

Can't give the Jays much credit for this game. Feels like a game the Astros gave away.

he's a terrible manager. got cute and lost a huge game.

don't think luhnow will even consider firing him in offseason though. probably gets another full season.

Prior to today, Hoyt was scoreless in 4 of 5 appearances (solo HR was the 1 run). Hitless in 3 of the 6 innings he appeared in (and only infield hits in 1 other). And struck out 7 in 5 1/3 innings, walked 1.

Maybe there were better options, but I don't think Harris was 1, I don't think it was completely awful to put him in there, and they were probably thinking Feliz/Pat/Harris in 7/8/9 if Luke still wasn't available.

I probably would have gone to Feliz as well...just pointing out that the #'s indicate it wasn't a horrible decision to go this way.

I'm perfectly fine using Hoyt. Really looked good in the games I've seen him in.

How do we get old ass ****?
Be like the Rangers and give up your young talent and still not win a World Series? Part of winning the WS is being fortunate. Like the Royals last year. We can be that team...

i would buy the numbers thing, if not for hinch's philosophy on save situations showing themselves in any inning prior to the 9th. man on 1st, man on second showed up in the 6th. you treat it like that's the game.

I never get upset with loses just the games we gift wrap to the other team. the baseball gods blessed us with rain of biblical proportions in a time of drought and hinch is basically dancing around naked in front of a golden calf.
I'm one that believes just stay 6-8 games over .500 til september comes but you can't give these away.

No manager would do that - so your problem seems to be with all of MLB.

It's fascinating how every single loss here is apparently the manager's fault. Based on fan perceptions, we'd go 162-0 if we just had a competent manager.
