McHugh and Keuchel have control issues this year.

    It is strange.

    Right now,

If you are going in to a playoff series.

    You throw

    McCullers,Musgrove,Fister, Keuchel?

Great swing by Reed, but please just run and stop looking at the ball.

    But great swing!

Yeah I think McCullers and Musgrove are the best starters on the staff right now. Like this lineup for a possible playoff series.

Doubt Reed could have made it home from third on that grounder anyhow.

I love the oppo approach tonight though. Instead of home run or bust just push it the other way.

Wasting a leadoff double is the worst. You just need to move him over with the first out and sac fly him in.

Yes, it was a foul ball. It was pretty clear on replay.

What is Bregman's OPS excluding the adjustment/rough start?

I've seen the 3 true outcome stuff mentioned on here a fair amount recently. I really don't think it has applied to the Astros any more than most teams this year. With Carter gone and now Gomez gone...this team isn't really built that way anymore. They just have some bad (or underperforming) hitters.

I'd put Colby in that category (home run or bust), and Gattis still for the most part. But I would think most teams have a couple of those guys..and obviously Colby hasn't been right for a while.

Wow. He's getting out of trouble. I'd rather not have him get into trouble, though....
