I didn't write that.. I responded to someone being "fearful of tonight's bats" compared to the 1st game. I was just saying I'm no more fearful of tonight than I am of any game...and in fact, the likelihood of hits might improve tonight.
It's neat to look back on how Tucker and White were viewed after their little hot starts, versus how Reed and Bregman were viewed after their little terrible ones. 2 guys were AMAZING FUTURE LINEUP FIXTURES, while the other 2 were just CRAP. Actual talent evaluation, the streaky nature of the game or sample sizes weren't really a factor. I found it funny then, and it's still funny now.
Why is Sipp a major league player again? I could do as good and I've played no baseball at any level.
Really wish they had found a way to get a Boone Logan or Hunter Cervenka at the deadline.. f'ing Sipp
For those of you knowledgeable about baseball. Since today is a double header I know that every player is available for the second game however I am curious. Say in the next game we get in a situation where we need a lefty arm out of the pen. Although eligible to pitch can a pitcher like Sipp go out for a batter? Or is that unheard of.
