You stated that Harden's lax d can be partially attributed to his work load relative to Thompson. Physical exertion is a relevant topic aye? Or am I missing something. If Klay Thompson's offensive playing style is more prone to physical exertion then your excuse is lacking merit. That's my point.
This isn't even a debate among fans that watch any amount of games >0 Actually, why is this even a thread?
Because we have this poster who lives under a bridge that likes to make stupid threads like this for ****s and giggles?
When a player is still arguably a top 5 player during a DOWN year where he was coming back from offseason injury and being overweight, you have a special player. It's that simple.
klay thompson is overrated.. im sick of this guys name being mentioned next to harden, their is no advanced metric other than ts% that the gap in talent is even respectable
People claim he is a better defender and assume that if he was the leader of his own team, he would be able to create his own shot to score at a high level. While this could be true, he isn't better than Harden until he actually proves it, in my opinion.
This is silly. One - Harden played the most minutes in the NBA last year, by far if I'm not mistaken. Klay has the opportunity to rest late into regular blowouts. Two - Harden's style of play is way more physical than Klay's, as he is constantly creating offense and foul opportunities by relentlessy taking the ball to the rim and taking a beating while he does it. Klay is a catch and shoot guy. One of the best ever at that, but he is not often called upon to create or take it to the rim.
Harden's play style is much more physical than Klay's. That's partly on him, and partly on the role demanded of him. Who has more "physical exertion" is splitting hairs, honestly, though Harden leads the league in minutes.
probably one of the better mixes I've seen. I'm glad the Beard's a Rocket! Code: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OVsP2fPNr-s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> My attempt at embedding. Can someone fix if it fails?
Oh please. Don't even try to act like u can tell someone to get there facts straight. Klay has been the primary defender of harden period. Dg and iggy guarding harden in spurts does not change anything. Grfoh trying sound so highly of yourself
LOL, Calm your twat down Nancy there is no need to get sensitive, we just sounding our opinions here, if you can get your head out of your ass, most posters here including me were saying that Klay is the primary defender on Harden but GS were switching during the playoffs but still that doesn't change a thing like you said and I actually do admit that Klay and Harden are the best SGs in the NBA, but we can all agree Harden is better an all round player than Klay but klay gets the edge of being a way better defender. Well your IQ is definitely higher than anyone else here when you put one of the biggest chokers in playoffs like CP3 (although he is arguably the best PG in the league during the season) over Harden, CP3 had superior supporting cast than Harden last year in the playoffs and still lost to a team coached by Mchale that had only 2 plays in the playbook (ISO-Harden and bricking threes)

Why didn't his leadership and ability to consistently make his teammates better prevent him from blowing a 3-1 lead to Harden's Rockets in the playoffs?
Given the other 6 and a half games in that series.. this is an incredibly stupid and dishonest rebuttal.
This is a flat out lie.. y'all really love to peddle this bs.... He doesn't get almost 8 apg from this nonsense and again...
This is one of the most idiotic things I've seen posted in here... Harden has to carry the largest offensive load in the NBA.... Scoring, shooting, handling, driving, finishing, creating, and passing. He's the SOLE legit ball handler, playmaker, and shot creator on the team... Get the ignorance tf outta here.
No because it can't be true... It's blatantly false.... Klay is average to horrible at every other aspect of offense outside shooting.
