If true, this just adds to the legend that is Dream. I believe chicken McNuggets were also the fuel for Usain Bolt's dominant performance at the Olympics in Beijing.

    Hakeem's 100 chicken nuggets > Wilt's 100 points

It would be interesting to know how often he ate them after the commercial shoot was done, or if he ever ate them again.

This won't be moved to the "Do You Sit or Stand when You Wipe" thread in Hangout, will it?

I'm saddened that there is no Photoshop of a Wilt/Hakeem nugget mashup.

    Still awesome story.

It was before Hakeem re-dedicated himself to Islam. Notice....the lack of a "H" in Akeem?

fwiw: Notice the article spells his name "Akeem." So, if accurate, that was prior to him returning to his Islamic upbringing, since he changed the spelling of his name (at the behest of his mom) at roughly the same time.

This is one elusive commercial, no trace of it online! It was what introduced a lot of people to his "Unbeatable" catchprase. Was cheesy in that 80s way

Correct me if I'm wrong: It was just a camera shot on only his hand holding a nugget, face and body not visible, with a narrator talking ... The camera follows the nugget-in-hand with narration as it sloowly brings the nugget to his mouth to where his face appears to reveal its Olajuwon ... Then he DIPS the nugget into his mouth. Narrator says something... Then with straight face he looks at the camera and in very 'Akeem'-like form says:
    "Slaum Dunk"

More narration for few more seconds about nuggets. Then the commerical ends with Akeem saying:
    "UN-BEA-Table!"

    100 takes for that

    100 nuggets....

    /5 hours 20 per hour

1 every 3 minutes. The diarrhea isn't worth finding out but I'd probably tap out at 50

Tinman is somewhere, sitting in a darkened room.

With a half empty bottle of whiskey.

    Mumbling under his breath.

"how dare someone else make a thread about Olajuwon"
