definitely or when it took cano and big papi burning us until finally walking a hitter that usually hurts us in the same situation. small things that will get fixed, just frustrating. And the line up he has been given. I don't think tony la russa would fair any better.

If Marisnick singled in the 9th instead of giving away the free out, this game could have already been over. I despise giving away outs like that except in very particular situations.

Like needing a run in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game?

No, like if we were tied and going for the win. Or, man on 2nd with no outs...bunt him over to 3rd.

We were playing to tie instead of playing to win.

Should Springer be an automatic starter right now?

not sure how you cultivate clutch, but man the astros are so far away from having anyone on the team tha5 can get a big hit in a big moment. valbuena is the closest we got. tough watching your big guns wilt time after time under pressure.

Astros have dead weight in the Majors. Moving Rasmus to the DL helps (he should never play for the Astros again). Kemp should have never went down. Gomez needs to be released.

As others have said, at least we have football season coming up. I'm waiting for Richard Justice to tombstone this team.

Yes. He still brings defense and....... the other options are even sh***** at the plate.

Agree ! He's been dealt a bad hand rosterwise for sure. I'll go with you on still learning. But, learning means you don't continue to make the same mistakes over and over. I don't want to see Will Harris in with a lead or tied. He is going to give up runs.

After Correa, Springer, and Altuve, (hopefully Bregman), the lineup is just pure trash. I don't think there's particular unclutchness with the club there, the talent is just not good.

I don't know how you look up late inning statistics but I suspect Altuve and Correa have solid numbers there.

Yes. There is absolutely no doubt that he should. If Altuve went into a slump, do you want to sit him, too?

Kemp hasn't had a fair deal this year. Never should have been sent down. No excuse for the organization to take this long to bring Kemp back up after mistakenly sending him down. He's currently the second best hitter on the team behind Altuve, lol. He should be the new lead off hitter as well.
