Things change for me when you're in striking distance, you're on a tremendous run just to get back in it, and there are pieces that are needed that are available to help you now (and you have the prospects available to make those moves). Should all be about maxing out the primes of Springer/Altuve/Correa... And whatever is left of Keuchel. That is the core. Will become harder and harder to part with prospects the more they advance/succeed (but then again, if they flop... Their value goes in the tank).

The media was linking the Rangers to Lucroy even before the Cleveland deal, and even more so after he vetoed that trade. If Houston EM didn't see think the Rangers were legitimately pursuing then I'm not sure what they were thinking.
