I'm predicting they won't. In fact, I don't think they'll have a better reg season than either of their last two.

My reasoning is that the offense can only marginally get better while the defense will get more than marginally worse. Barnes and Bogut did a decent job on that end, Iggy looked old and Curry is still Curry.

There's going to be a lot of chemistry issues too I think. Klay and Curry are really cocky and they're going to struggle to mesh with a better offensive player than both of them. Durant doesn't want to look like he's riding their coattails to a title.

What do you guys expect to see?

I think they could coast to 60 wins. I voted 65 as I think they'll try at least a little.

I figure they'll win about 63 games. Can't imagine anyone beating 73 games, that still blows my mind.

Nah they'll coast and win just enough to be the #1 seed. Wouldn't shock me if they swept the playoffs though.

You'll see them rest players, take nights off, etc... they'll win the title, that's all that matters.

They'll be a better team than last year but they won't win as many games because they learned the lesson that regular season records don't matter if you lose in the post season.

They need win more playoff games, so a better regular season is not important for them.

I think they wont because the group they had last year was special but also because they learned not to do anything in the season to jeopardize the playoffs.

Nope - adding Durant made them worse.

After last season, I don't think the Warriors would care how many games they win in the regular season as long as they secured HCA throughout the playoffs. If they did early, they would certainly rest their stars even if they had a chance to break their own record.

yeah. they're going to save their energy for the playoffs this time. Going for the win record gassed them, despite what everyone said.

If they have a chance to break 73, they'll try to break it.

They won't have the same hot start that they had before so I'm sure that opportunity will be dead by the halfway point. It'll be coast time for them.
