Since I do not know what dub step is I'll say no.

Lenny would have been AWESOME, but in stead it looks like we get a Grammy award winning DJ.

Band looks and sounds great. What the hell is up with the crowd though? It's like they couldn't give 2 ****s about what was going on. The talking in the background is pretty prominent in the sound on the video. I have to think the ticket prices are largely responsible for a crowd of douchey people who would rather chat and look at their phones than actually be a part of the concert they're attending.

Plus I thought he was touring with AC/DC? This is all so confusing.

I noticed that too. I wrote it off as just fans being older than they were during GnR's heyday. All the hardcore fans have kids and mortgages now. But yeah.....Adler joining is kind of a big deal. You would think there would have been a bigger reaction.

Bah...cell phones have kind of ruined the whole concert experience these days. It used to be the only thing people would hold up is a lighter or their hands. Now, everyone has a damn cellphone in the air. That alone makes the crowd less engaged because one hand is taken. The other hand is not going to be doing anything except maybe holding a beer. And, those who are less engaged like that are more likely to talk imo rather than be into the show.

That said...I do enjoy watching Periscope streams from people at the shows because it's the next best thing to actually being there. I saw countless Rush shows with decent quality on their last tour that way.

But, seeing concerts before cell phones came along was definitely the best experiences and that resulted in better crowds that were more engaged.

I definitely miss those old concert days. In the future, people may send their personal robots to the shows and then stay home watching it through their robot's eyes. The band may even have robots stand in and play for them while they are at home playing themselves like it is "Guitar Hero" or something. LOL

A part of me feels like music is dying. All the good, well-known rock bands are starting to retire or die out. Pretty soon here...we're going to be left with a bunch of pop acts and lesser known bands. Imo...none of these newer bands are making the impact that those bands that emerged back then did...unless you are talking all these pop artists that aren't even rock. A lot of these newer rock bands can't fill a stadium. I feel like arena concerts are going to be a thing of the past unless it is a multi-bill type of show.

I'm glad I was around to experience the 80s/90s acts when it was all relatively new and rock gave birth to many great bands. The more modern bands just can't compete at that level imo.

The days of the bands that can fil arenas are coming to an end. It seems like in the future rock/metal is going to be more of an underground thing where if a band is big enough to fill theaters they will be doing well.

I am, have to see Slash in person at least once in this life. Can't believe they are together. Last time they came it was the Metallica/GNR/Faith no More tour and I missed it..killed me.

I got an extra ticket in case anyone is interested (Posted in classifieds)

I am even considering going on a road trip to the Temple of the Dog tour, but it seems it sold out in seconds.......wtf !!

The live experience is still going strong outside of arenas and stadiums. REM was making fun of arena rock rituals on their first arena rock tour in 1989, so I don't think we are missing much because their isn't a new version of the Foo Fighters.

8PM is when Skrillex starts, or when GNR comes out? Cuz if it's Skrillex I can wait a lil bit. Lol

Overall the show was not bad. I would have skipped a few songs and added Patience. I'm curious as to what happened to the piano.

As far as Skrillex goes I guess he was alright if you are into that. Personally I would have rather listened to a local cover band.

I thought it was fantastic and Axl sounded surprisingly good. Didn't have high expectations going in. I would have skipped a couple of the new tracks but there's no such thing as a perfect set list for everyone and they covered almost everything I thought they should. I'd see it again.

The show was outstanding it was the first time I have seen any version of GNR so I don't really have anything to compare it to but it was worth going and I would do it again.

Strange. Pretty expensive tickets to go play on your phone. I didn't get to make a show, but from youtube and fan reviews, it seems like these shows are better than most runs from the 90's. The setlists are definitely better.
