In a race for the playoffs, there IS NO positive to peacock being brought up guess they want to justify keeping him around
No, just for tonight IN CASE OF EMERGENCY! Devenski will be long man if Musgrove starts in a couple of days. Also, Feliz could be good for 2 innings if needed.

Ever since the Chronicle pointed out the Astros had been one of the most fortunate teams due to injury, they've seen Val, Gregerson, and now LMJ go down not to mention Marwin and Gomez.
Yeah Lunhow was on the broadcast last night saying injuries come in 3s and we shouldn't get anymore. Next thing you know, a crowd gathers around Lance.
As long as Peachoke is only up as a long reliever, I'm fine with the move. Not sure how he's still on the 40-man but Musgrove needs to start in LMC's place.
Come hell or high water Colby is batting 5th. I would like to see what Reed can do with a smidge of protection in the 5 hole. Bregman got a chance hitting in front of the best hitter in the game without ever even getting a hit beforehand.
And he only got one. Lineup protection is an inexact science. Many pitchers continue to simply go after every hitter with a set strategy, regardless of who is coming up next.
Let me elaborate and clarify. I want to see him hit in a more reasonable position in the lineup in line with how we project him as a hitter(power, good plate discipline). I would think that is not hitting 7th or 8th. Bregman got a shot at where he could theoretically slot in based on his skills(Pop, high OBP, Low K), so I think it is reasonable to want to see Reed get the same shot. Colby sure ain't tearing the cover off the ball, so at this point what is there to lose?
Oh I agree there is nothing to lose. I would actually have Gattis hitting 5th, and from 6-9 you could put them in any order you want until one of them at least shows a faint pulse
Peacock is only up until Fister comes back from Paternity leave, hopefully in time to start Saturday with Musgrove going Sunday.
How many times this season has Jason Castro walked to bring up George Springer or Jose Altuve? Seems like it was happening all the time.
Right? Astros pitchers seem to be guilty of that too, especially when they play the Angels and Trout.
Astros had been pretty healthy. We should've taken advantage by having better record, thus, putting us in better position to maintain through injuries.
