I bought a car that's equipped, so they've been calling me ever since to get me to sign up. They'll want to engage me in a conversation: "how you liking you're new car?" "what kind of stuff do you listen to when you're driving?" They keep calling, so I've taken to telling them that I drive in silence. That studies have shown that even listening to the radio distracts drivers and increases the odds of a deadly accident. I'll need some new material though when that gets stale.

$15.99 a month for their streaming only option. $6 more than Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.

The only reason that this company is still around is that their satellite tuners are in nearly every new car that's been sold for the last 10 years. They won't be able to compete if Apple/Android's automobile platforms ever fully catch steam.

How did they get your phone phone number? I always give fake phone numbers out.

My free 3 month subscription is ending. I just noticed all the intro deals are for 6 and 12 months are for Select package only without Howard Stern. Just to add Howard Stern increases to All Access and the price goes through the roof.

What is the best deal one can get for the All Access? The pricing their offering on their website sucks and I don't want the Select package without Stern.

They want $200 for a year of All Access compared to $100 for a year of Select and $30 for 6 months of Select. So, they want you to pay another $100 to basically get Stern (and I guess that app as well). That's ridiculous.

Be warned, the Sirius App is complete trash. It crashes a lot, it won't load, it won't let you access on Demand episodes, so much wrong with it and although Sirius knows about the issues they refuse to do anything about it. My sub runs out in November and I'm done. Stern has done 1 full week of shows (3 freaking days) in a month. Always on vacation, the show is so scripted now it's lame and I'm tired of the boring kiss ass interviews and hearing about his his horse faced, ex call girl wife's mental illness with Cats. Or him talking about the Bachelor for hours. Stern is done. He's old, he's mailing it in and losing listeners left and right.

Marcy Turk and her "Get Things Done" cult ruined the show. Fired everyone and Stern never told the audience. The best guests for talk are no longer allowed on the show. No back office radio, the wrap up show is a joke/ half hour of kissing his ass, no more good phony phone calls, it's like everyone stays in their office scared. Terrible show. Very unfortunate for the fans, most excellent for Hampton's Howy.

If you drive distances, satellite is the greatest thing ever. You don't have to find new stations and reception is clear and available 99% of the time. IHeart is great too, it's just dependent on internet reception and doesn't do live games.

But with the phones you don't need it just plug your phone in or blue tooth it and you can get whatever you want on the phone, and not have to change stations.

I'm paying like $140 annually for the subscription.

I've never had an issue with the app. I use it when I'm outside at my pool to listen to Astros games or music. Never had it crash on me.

Yeah I need to stay off of the Stern forum lol. Funny how the app does work great for Astros on Sundays while in the pool (I do the same). I really only listen to Stern replays on demand so maybe that the issue. Live sports work strong. Still canceling though as my commute to work is only 20 minutes. Mornings it's 790 am at work and drive home I only listen to podcasts and Spotify. Not worth $140 a year. Bad investment.

Right, but you need internet reception.

Did you read that entire post?

I use IHEART through my phone
