They're just a way to value prospects to separate within the rankings and provide context. I tried to mirror John Sickels scale used at minorleagueball.com. To correspond to the MLB grading scale (40-80): C = 40 C+ = 45 B- = 50 B = 55 B+ = 60 A- = 65 A= 70 A+ = 75-80
Really shocking, he's on a 50 HR pace over a 150 game season. At his age and only ~170 lbs its easy to see him hitting 30 HR/season at his peak; factor in that reports on his defense consistently indicate he can stick at SS (with some even thinking he could be plus or elite at short), and all he needs to do is cut down a little On his strikeouts and he'll be a special player.
Kyle Tucker hit his 4th homer for Quad Cities. Meanwhile, Osvaldo Duarte has his 3rd homer for Lancaster and 7th on the season. Yulieski Gurriel is 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Francis Martes vs. San Antonio: 6.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, BB, 12 K; the 2 runs scored on a home run. Corpus won 4-2.
I was fine with giving him a couple weeks to get ready... But he's ready. He cant do worse than 0-4 every game, so no reason to wait on him.
Man. Kyle Tucker is starting to warm up. Power is coming no doubt. Once he starts hitting home runs constantly, look out. Plus he is faster than the Astros thought.
Jon Kemmer may get a shot at some point in Houston. Just hit his 11th HR and is on a 12 game hit streak. Should probably be taken with a grain of salt though
Sad to say but you almost have to feel at this point the send ups and send downs need to be a revolving door. Bring one up, give him a week to see where he rates, if not bring another. Something has to be changed because this offense is simply not working.

Myles Straw went 2-4 last night and is now slashing .363/.426/.457 in Quad Cities. He has 5 straight multi-hit games.
Duarte gonna hit his way into the organizational top 10. Brad Peacock has been called up!!! Everything is taken care of. Seriously..... how is he still in the system.
Was wondering when Sierra would be called up. Will be impressive if he can have a good stretch in Tri-City at the age of 18.
